I am the perfect weapon.

I kill with a single touch.

Twylla is blessed. The Gods have chosen her to marry a prince, and rule the kingdom. But the favour of the Gods has it's price. A deadly poison infuses her skin. Those who anger the queen must die under Twylla's fatal touch.

Only Lief, an outspoken new guard, can see past Twylla's chilling role to the girls she truly is.

Yet in a court as dangerous and the queen's, some truths should not be told...

Review:

Well, this story took a serious turn of events! I did not see it coming! (and you won't either because no spoilers here!)

I enjoyed this immensely, the very idea of killing with a touch and the isolation behind this man killling gift had me fascinated. Twylla has a hard job, she is stuck with a destiny of pleasing the Gods and her Queen by killing those who are deemed traitors of the kingdom. Every time her touch kills one, it fills her with guilt, shame and self-hate. Add in a cruel Queen, a charming prince and her cheeky smiling' guard.

You have a tale of deceit, romance, intrigue.
Contains: some wish she'd touch them dead characters and some loveable one's whom you'd wish she could touch in a WHOLE other way!

Read it if you love fantasy/romance and mythical almost fairy tale elements.
