REVIEW: Sweet Home by Tillie Cole

At age twenty, Molly Shakespeare knows a lot.

She knows Descartes and Kant.

She knows academia and Oxford.

She knows that the people who love you leave you.

She knows how to be alone.

But when Molly leaves England's grey skies behind to start a new life at the University of Alabama, she finds that she has a lot to learn — she didn't know a summer could be so hot, she didn't know students could be so intimidating, and she certainly didn't know just how much the folks of Alabama love their football.

When a chance encounter with notorious star quarterback, Romeo Prince, leaves her unable to think of anything but his chocolate-brown eyes, dirty-blond hair and perfect physique, Molly soon realises that her quiet, solitary life is about to dramatically change forever...

Mature New Adult novel — contains adult content, highly sexual situations and mature topics. Suited for ages 18 and up*

This was a sweet read, and it's certainly an emotional rollercoaster! But in a good way not a winey I want to kill my kindle sort of way...

This tale is about Molly Juliet Shakespear and Her Romeo and their journey is filled with plenty of woe. Hell there's so much of it I found my self tearing up waiting for a miss-sent text that lead to their suicide but allas there isn't one! Wooohooo the stars are defeated!

Anywhooo, moving on swiftly!

Like with all Shakespear influenced stories it starts with two star crossed lovers:

One an American football quaterback and another an academic, smart girl.

The lovers bonded over the moment a bitchy, plastic, bunny boiler purposely picked on our sweet "Molly-pop" by barging and knocking all her papers to the ground and of course tall, american and muscled, god from man heaven, helped her pick them up. Queue love at first sight!

I loved it! Romeo's sexy, alpha talk lit the pages on fire with their smouldering sex scenes and their love they needed to prove to a lot or abhorrent people. Just to let you know Romeo's family! eurgh worst people ever! totally nicknaming his mum Saturns Mistress she's such a, such a:

Wow! Zoe Deschanel! I couldn't have said it better myself!!!

Let's end on a nostalgic note:
