REVIEW: Hopeless By Colleen Hoover

Blurb:

Sometimes discovering the truth can leave you more hopeless than believing the lies…

That’s what seventeen-year-old Sky realizes after she meets Dean Holder. A guy with a reputation that rivals her own and an uncanny ability to invoke feelings in her she’s never had before. He terrifies her and captivates her all in the span of just one encounter, and something about the way he makes her feel sparks buried memories from a past that she wishes could just stay buried.

Sky struggles to keep him at a distance knowing he’s nothing but trouble, but Holder insists on learning everything about her. After finally caving to his unwavering pursuit, Sky soon finds that Holder isn’t at all who he’s been claiming to be. When the secrets he’s been keeping are finally revealed, every single facet of Sky’s life will change forever

I have to admit, scream, shout and chant that this has to be the most beautiful story I have read in a long time. It's so full of soul, anguish and love. I often found my myself, smiling, laughing, sobbing and crying with both happiness and despair well done Colleen Hoover you have written an epic tale that I will keep with me forever!!!!!!! :')

Sky and Holder are the perfect puzzle fit to complete the jigsaw of their life. I feel privileged to read and be a part of their phenomenal story, even though it's fiction they feel very real and are now very close to my heart as soppy as it seems, that's how great a writer Hoover is. This journey pulled on my heartstrings like no other.

This book is a kaleidoscope of feelings that  creates one legendary story that lasts long after you have finished reading, truly poignant right till the end.

"I’ll just think about the sky and maybe it’ll help me smile, because I know it’ll always be beautiful no matter what."
