The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones film!

I am so psyched since I have finally seen The City of Bones trailer and I have to say it looks amazing!

For those of you who don't know this was originally a book and is listed within my Top 10 re-read and re-read and re-read books of all time! (I have read this book more than 3 times.) I came across this book whilst I was in Waterstones. My father frustratingly holding up novels only to have me say "read it" about every single one. The real reason behind how I ended up with the nickname book-frog instead of worm, since I always say "read-it, read-it, read-it" get it?!? hehe.

Any who, to say the least the blurb had me falling in love and within seconds of starting the first chapter I couldn't put it down. So after finishing it within one day I did the obvious and naturally made my dad drive 30 mins back to Waterstones in the Peak District whilst on holiday to buy the next one and I've been on count down for the third and the following within the series ever since! I will give you a small teaser of this awesome, mind blowingly epic books blurb! Featuring our kick-ass main character Clary Fray and my book boyfriend (sorry Clary don't be too jealous) Jace our hunky hero:

Teaser: (Quoted from UK blurb)
"Clary Fray is seeing things. The best-looking guy in the nightclub just stabbed a boy to death - but the victim has vanished into thin air. Her mother has disappeared, and a hideous monster is lurking in her apartment. With her life spiralling into darkness, Clary realises that she has stumbled into an invisible war between ancient demonic forces and the secretive Shadowhunters - a war in which she has a fateful role to play."

This book has everything paranormal, fantasy, action, adventure, romance, witty dialogue and brilliantly crafted world within our world. I can sit here for hours on end and still get lost within this book. I don't see the words on the page, I see the imagery of the world as if the movie is playing in my head. This may be a problem for when I watch the film. If the actors don't live up to my expectations of the characters and how I perceive them from Cassandra Clare's writing. My book is now so dog eared and crinkled down the spine that it looks very much loved which in my personal opinion is the best way for a good book to look.

These paperbacks have travelled with me everywhere and always has a special place upon my shelf, instead of being stacked upon the floor since I ran out of space... Even at uni the books I've bought since I've been here no longer fit upon my shelf and will be another pile to add to my collection when I move back home for the holidays...

I will post the movie trailer below, but I highly recommend reading the books first! To truly appreciate the work of my favourite author EVER, Cassandra Clare!

This is totally my OMG I'm in awe face! I can't wait let the countdown begin!
(This not my picture but this is the cutest cat EVER)
