Review: Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost

Print Length: 358 pages
Rating :  ***** Five stars!

Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father—the one responsible for ruining her mother’s life. Then she’s captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unholy partnership.

In exchange for finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She’s amazed she doesn’t end up as his dinner—are there actually good vampires? Pretty soon Bones will have her convinced that being half-dead doesn’t have to be all-bad. But before she can enjoy her newfound status as kick-ass demon hunter, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. Now Cat will have to choose a side... and Bones is turning out to be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat.

I truly love this book it's one of my top paranormal favorites just don't mistake this for wanting it to be a film. I personally feel vampires just don't work on screen they're either creepy or just plain rubbish.

I have read this book probably around ten times now and still can't get enough who doesn't like a feisty heroin and a sexy male vampire. This book had me so gripped that as soon as I finished I practically ran to Waterstones and pre ordered the rest of the books!

Cat is one of my ultimate favorite heroin's she's tough and feminine all at the same time a heroin with a brain! I love the conflict of identity when it comes to vampires glowing green eyes! I think that’s pretty cool! And lets just say the chemistry of Cat and Bones smolders off the pages, the plot is twisty and action pact and for a paranormal romance everything is realistic in the sense there aren't any flaws in the conspiracy's it always makes me giggle when authors use an English man and imitate his accent and it was pretty spot on! English men can be crude and tend to drop certain letters hell even women! hah!

I know this because I am English and live in England which is probably why I love American authors a change of scenery if you will :D

Jeaniene Frost I love you’re writing and am one of your biggest fans! (Just incase you see this)

Would I read it again: I have and forever will!
Would I recommend it: YES! I bloody do! (Pun intended vampire fans)

Happy dance!!! The series is still being written yey!!!
